The album OK Computer by Radiohead is considered to be one of the best albums of all time. The album debut in July 1997 and quickly rose up the charts. It won album of the year when in first came out and was also remade into a reggae style album entitled Radiodread by Easy Star All-Stars. The album has been considered to be of the same caliber as Pink Floyd’s album Dark Side of the Moon. Many bands such as Muse and Coldplay have used Radiohead as a major influence in their music.
This album got me into Radiohead and now they are my favorite band. The album has many different styles to the music; it may change from being quiet and laid back, to being loud and more of a hard rock feel. The song “Paranoid Android” started out as three separate songs, but the band members decided to combine the three separate parts much like 'Happiness [Is a Warm Gun] by John Lennon. There is not one song on this album that I do not enjoy listening to. It is one of my favorite albums of all time and shows the true listener the capabilities of Radiohead.
