My Christmas List!

I know this sounds really funny and I know Thanksgiving has not passed yet, but I am already making my Christmas list to give my family at Thanksgiving time. All four years of high school, I never knew exactly what I wanted besides money or gift cards to stores.
Well, this year for some reason it is completely different. I am so prepared for "What do you want for Christmas?" Hopefully I will be asked this year considering the last four years I said, "I don't know."
I guess this year I am so prepared since I would really like things for my dorm to either keep me busy or make the room more homey. I know this things that I am asking for will last me awhile and last for the next four to five years of my college career, even though I will not be staying in a dorm all my college life.

This Christmas I do not want much. Maybe a few outfits or some new dvds to watch on my free time. I actually feel like I should be the one giving gifts. I believe I should give back to all those who helped me out and gave me toys and other gifts on Christmas. As I got older I do not want as much as I did when I was younger. I use to run down stairs when I woke up on Christmas day to play with my toys. Now I will probally sleep in. This year Christmas is all about growing up and giving back and of course Jesus's birthday.

My family has a rule, so to speak, of if you're eighteen, you get put into the secret santa with the rest of the family. I am the youngest in my family and last year was my first time in the secret santa. I guess it is better because then my family does not have to worry about getting everybody something, but we all give something to my grandma. Last year I thought it was kind of dumb that we did not buy everybody something, but now I see that is kind of selfish. Christmas really is not about material things, everybody most likely knows that, but about being with those who mean the most to you. That sounds kind of cheesy, but it is thr truth. I wish I still got gifts from my family, but I will live with it.

I do not want anything for Christmas besides....a new touch iPOD, new stereo system for my car, and a plasma television. Now I know I am not going to be able to get all of those things I can hope cant I. After all it is a Christmas WISH list not a definite list. I do not like telling people what I want for Christmas I would rather them get me what they think I want because I enjoy suprises.
